## Mission

**Česky.** Twisten Foundation je český nadační fond, který pomáhá dospívajícím, jejich rodičům, učitelům a esportové komunitě otevřeně mluvit o duševním zdraví. Vznikl na památku Karla "Twistena" Ašenbrenera a jeho příběh proměňuje v konkrétní programy: podporu pro teenagery, vzdělávání rodičů, workshopy ve školách a práci uvnitř esportu.

**English.** Twisten Foundation is a Czech endowment fund that helps teenagers, parents, educators, and the esports community talk openly about mental health. Founded in memory of Karel "Twisten" Ašenbrener, it turns his story into practical programs: direct support for teens, resources and education for parents, school-based workshops, and destigmatization work inside esports.

## Founder story

Karel "Twisten" Ašenbrener was a Czech professional Counter-Strike player. After his death, his family, friends, and the wider esports community established the foundation to make sure other young people facing similar struggles can find help earlier and without shame. ### Teen mental health (Duše teenagera)

## Audience and tone

The site speaks to four overlapping audiences: teenagers themselves, their parents, educators, and the Czech esports community. The voice is warm, human, and dignified — honest about difficult topics (suicide, anxiety, depression) without being clinical or sensational. Hopeful without being saccharine. Every page is action-oriented: learn more, get involved, or donate.

Bilingual: Czech (cs, primary) and English (en, secondary). Both languages are served from the same routes; users switch language in the site header.
